Dr. Terri-Anne Russell is a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist who provides expert anaesthesiology care at The Orthopaedic & Spine Institute Limited (TOSIL). She plays a vital role in ensuring patients have a safe, comfortable, and well-managed experience before, during, and after surgery.
Patients often feel anxious about anaesthesia and pain control. Dr. Russell is known for her calm, reassuring approach and her commitment to clear communication, helping patients feel informed and at ease throughout their surgical journey.
Education and Specialist Training
Dr. Russell earned her Bachelor of Science and medical degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona, before completing her Doctor of Medicine in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the same institution. She later pursued advanced international training in perioperative medicine, obtaining both a fellowship and a Master’s degree from University College London.
This combination of strong local training and international experience allows Dr. Russell to deliver anaesthesiology care that meets global standards while remaining attentive to the needs of patients in Jamaica.
